A strange twist in the story
In the interest of simplicity I will keep this direct. Last week I found out that disgraced former Trump National Security Advisor Mike Flynn had filed a lawsuit against me for defamation. It involves just three tweets from over a year and a half ago. He is asking for a ludicrous $150 million.
I immediately went to work to build a top flight legal team and am fortunate to have enlisted the incredible help of Mark Zaid and Brad Moss of the Zaid firm in D.C. and John Phillips in Florida. All three have fought numerous of these MAGA lawsuits designed to silence and intimidate opponents of Donald Trump and his confederates.
They have all agreed to provide their personal services pro bono but we face a serious challenge to cover expenses including staff time, research, filing fees, travel and more. We are not backing down from this threat. We are mounting an aggressive legal campaign to not just end this case but to sanction the frivolous use of our legal system against political opponents.
I’ve never shrunk from a fight in my life and I am not starting now.
An ask for help to join this fight
I am loathe to ask for financial assistance but this fight will likely be a difficult one. While Mike Flynn lives on his General Officer retirement pay and, by all indications and my opinion, cash flooding in from his many MAGA inspired efforts, I am a content creator and sometime political consultant. He picked the wrong guy to get rich off of or to scare.
