It’s not a stunt

It’s a necessity. Usually crossover events on network TV are stunts to use a hit show to boost another one and get more views. While I am not against that in any way this week’s crossover event was more necessity than stunt.

This weeks guest was a good one. I was all set to have a House Representative who sits on both the Oversight and Foreign Affairs Committees join ‘On Democracy with FPWellman’ this week. We were going to discuss the insanity in the Speakers race and GOP caucus as well as the tragedy unfolding in Israel.

But then life happened and that insanity meant he was unavailable after we pushed the taping all the way to the absolute last minute possible to turn the production and get it posted for you and the MeidasTouch Network.

So, I hit the Bat Signal and my friend, the brilliant lawyer and co-host of Legal AF, Michael Popok jumped in to the breech to join the show. I had a great time chatting with him on all of the issues of the day from the unfolding drama around Capitol Hill and how it’s clear that Trump is losing his filters and his ability to speak.
