I was prepping for this interview with Shan Wu and couldn’t believe how many legal issues there are cascading right now surrounding Trump and the Republican Party. The list is simply insane.

• New York civil trial for the Trump Organization

• Classified documents federal trial in Florida

• Georgia election interference case

• Trump January 6th case in DC

• The sham “impeachment” effort

• Senate investigating gifts to the Supreme Court

• Project 2025 and Trump’s threats to turn the DOJ on his opponents

….and on and on.

That’s before we get to some of his recent writings on the issues of free speech on college campuses at this terrible moment in Israel and Gaza. So, there was plenty to discuss and we dove right in this afternoon. We dove right in and dug into a lot of the issues to try and understand what all of this means and what is the real danger we face.

Shan Wu is a regular CNN and NPR legal analyst and former federal prosecutor who served in the Clinton Administration as Counsel to Attorney General Janet Reno and is now a nationally known criminal defense & college student defense lawyer. He appears regularly on multiple media outlets and writes for the Daily Beast among many other publications and platforms.
