On Democracy | Sunday March 23, 2025

We have an amazing show with musician Glenn Burtnik, former Pardon Attorney Liz Oyer, and Representative Eugene Vindman

On Democracy | Sunday is your go to Sunday show available for free right here on Substack and YouTube.

This week I had the chance to have an extended conversation with veteran rock and roll musician, song writer, and producer Glenn Burtnik who has performed with Styx, Patty Smyth, and many more including starring as Paul McCartney on Broadway in Beatlemania. We speak at length about the arc of his career, the changes in music, and the life of a working musician approaching his 70th birthday.

Liz Oyer was fired last week as the U.S. Pardon Attorney at the Department of Justice after refusing to roll over and give Mel Gibson his gun rights back. She is speaking out and we discussed that episode as well as the attacks on law firms and the rule of law by Trump.

Finally, Representative Eugene Vindman joined me to talk about his recent bizarre letter from Acting U.S. Attorney for D.C., Ed Martin, threatening an investigation into his past businesses. I asked him how he answers the criticism they aren’t doing enough to fight back and the work he is doing for his constituents in Virginia’s 7th District just south of D.C.

Join us live every Sunday at 11:00 am ET and 8:00 am PT for discussions with key newsmakers, cultural icons, and more.
