Trump has lost in court and more is coming
The Trump University case shows a game plan to how he can be beaten
Trump is a Loser
His entire personality and cult is built around the lie that he is not. But facts are stubborn things and he has lost over and over from failed business ventures to losing his second election. In between there are the court cases he’s lost as well. His brand is that he keeps winning and that he’s “Teflon Don” but the reality is something else completely.
One of the biggest turning points was the Trump University case filed by the New York Attorney General’s office after other state’s had passed or been bought off. The young, brand new lawyer that got handed the case to “look into it” on his second day in the job was Tristan Snell. He won. It can be done.
The Road Map
Tristan has written a book about that experience and twelve rules he learned from that case and others that have followed. I expected a ‘how to’ guide but what I found was a fascinating analysis of the many legal cases against Trump and his associates right up to the current E. Jean Carroll sexual assault and defamation case now in its penalty phase again.
Tristan lays out in shocking detail how Trump bought off AG’s like Greg Abbott and Pam Bondi in Florida with strategic campaign donations and support for years. But, it’s clear he has lost his edge. The onslaught of cases and his own fading mental sharpness have left Trump exposed and struggling. More loses are coming.
On the show this week we go deep into discussing what danger he faces as well as the outrageous news this week about Roger Stone specifically plotting to assassinate members of Congress in the months before the 2020 election with former NYPD Detective Sal Greco. The tape is damning and the visual from a previous deposition Stone gave years ago at the top of this episode gives a scary window into the ruthlessness of those in Trump’s circles.
This truly is a don’t miss episode.
