You can’t be serious
It seems they really are. This week Donald Trump pulled the nomination of his original choice for Surgeon General Dr. Janette Nesheiwat, a former Fox News contributor. In her place he named wellness influencer Dr. Casey Means who never completed her surgical residency.
She isn’t even qualified to be Surgeon General but that has never stopped Trump before.
The entire healthcare system is under attack from the very top. Our nation will be in real danger when faced with another crisis like COVID or worse and the damage is going to last for decades.
This week I was joined by Dr. Anahita Dua the founder of Healthcare for Action and a highly respected vascular surgeon, working to reform our healthcare system and support science. We dive deep into the entirely unacceptable nomination of Dr. Casey Means as Surgeon General, the damage at NIH, and her belief that all Presidential candidates should pass a full cognitive testing battery.
