Why do the Republicans Love the Russians?
It's the burning question of the week for me and my guest Trae Crowder
At least he’s not woke!
Can you imagine thinking that about a brutal foreign dictator? I can’t, but then again I’m not a MAGA follower. It’s a question I ponder often and I couldn’t have thought of a better guest for this week’s show than the Liberal Redneck himself, Trae Crowder, to discuss it.
Trae has some theories about it all and it has to do with Putin basically promising “in Russia we only have two genders and no blacks.” Not sure if he has actually said that but it seems legit to me and why two guys that look like this picture would be down with it all.
Russia, Russia, Russia
The fact is that it is all Russia. All roads lead to Putin and not just with Trump but the MAGA movement itself. Now the big star witness in the Burisma bribery scandal is indicted for being a Russian agent. Do the Republicans give up? Nope.
Trae and I discuss it and what is happening to our beloved South as the madness spreads across the region. He grew up in rural Tennessee and I spent most of my career in the Army based at southern posts and neither of us recognize what is happening anymore.

Thanks to you and Trey for making me laugh! I needed that. I'm the same age as you, so I remember in school how we would have to practice "civil defense" drills, how my dad (A Reagan democrat who became a Republican) would stress the importance of strong foreign policy, watching the movie "Red Dawn" and being worried that that could happen here. I never, in a million years imagined that Republicans would be embracing Russia. I'm in disbelief, yet here we are.
