Thank you. I feel better than I have since the morning after the election. I am going to continue sending emails to my two Democrat Senators and my Republican Representative. I am going to speak up online. I am too crippled with arthritis to march in the streets, but I am going to keep fighting until we retake the House, the Senate, and the Presidency.

Thank you for your service, sir.

You are a gift. My brother retired (first a tanker) after 35 years in the Army. So, I have a pinch of perspective. Mom was so unhappy and I told her to quit watching the news. God rest her. Little brother is a bit banged up but ok.

Finally, my stance is to never give up, never give in, and always pay close attention so as to take action. Appreciate you

Uniting at the atomic level of democracy (the solidarity of individuals) is the only path forward...given the void of strategy or conviction by Democratic leadership.

I got a good laugh from the "intestines" and the "half-naked immoral sweetheart" bit. I do feel better. I will keep fighting with truth and facts. Thanks, Fred.

Wonderful as usual Mr. Wellman. Like All social media: Tic Tok isn't designed for free speech. It stifles it thru the use of AI ( to identify people's weaknesses) and using the algorithms to spoon feed them information that will exploit those weaknesses thus brain washing them. They are mind bending tools. Social media is addictive, people need to know this. (https://msutoday.msu.edu/news/2019/excessive-social-media-use-is-comparable-to-drug-addiction) and thus weakens a persons ability to think rationally. I participate in it only to get the word out on its ability to bend you minds . I have very recently entered the belly of this beast. ( it is vulnerable from within) We all need to be selective in our consumption and alert on the content it tries to seer us to. Mr. Wellman in one of his sessions on Mideas Touch said ( I believe) that something like 58% of the people had never seen a Kamala ad, because their news came from social media and it obviously was manipulating the electorate by not feeding them the ads. Just as 60% of the people believe we are in a recession; (https://investors.affirm.com/news-releases/news-release-details/new-research-reveals-why-3-5-americans-think-economy-recession ) It certainly isn't and shows the power of social media to bend people's thoughts and actions ( like at the polls). I have identified the enemy. It is unfettered social media run by Billionaires who want to control you and thus our world. the question is what are we going to do about it. I think it is time to go public in a war on unfettered Social Media. Coalesce our forces and identify their vulnerabilities. I think the 1st goal should be to identify and/or train young leaders. Please pass this on. Thank you.

Thank you Fred - it gets tiring trying to find something to feel good about. There are many, and I have my moments too, that it seems impossible that such a horrible human could be voted as our President. Again! After all, we witnessed his behavior for 4 painful years before! How can that be possible!?!

Thank you Fred and your military friends for your service and what you have done for Americans. This writing was so good to read. I'm not a quiter but I don't know what I can do to help, me being a retired person. I will fight with words. I will not live in a country ran by the likes of the orange man and his sick olagards. I will always be on the side of democracy. God bless you, and God bless America.

You know, all those bending the knee, ponying up the bux to curry favor are all abject losers, so scared they’ll lose the only thing that matters to them; their stupid money. Don’t get me wrong, there are a lot of us who stand to lose what little we have thanks to trmp’s eternal grasping, but in the end, no matter how hard they try, all the power and money in the world still won’t allow them to live forever. They can’t take their trillions with them and they sure as hell won’t be missed. Their god is green and transitory.

There will be no giving up or giving in from this quarter. Just be kind to yourself and others as you’re able. We will get through this!

Great, extremely timely post. Thank you for your service in Iraq, and the service you're providing now to keep people's knees from buckling. Authoritarians love to project "power," often far more than they actually hold -- in this case, a tiny margin in the House of Representatives and a President likely to piss off many in Congress and among his supporters with his lame antics, incompetence and blather. Keep up the good work!

Thank you for this article . It’s rare that I read an article that changes my perspective but that’s exactly what has happened . I was thinking too much about what we have lost as a country and how ridiculous it is that we elected a comic book villain for president. But you reminded me not to defeat myself in advance. You are correct about MAGA propaganda. The only way they win is if we don’t fight.
