Good interview Fred. RW media including FOX is actively destroying our country. If you believe as we do that MAGA fails without FOX and that destroying honest media like PBS makes it even worse;

Eviscerate FOX. Deny them ad $ by denying the ad buying company CEO and execs bonuses. For example Home Depot. Boycott them for a full fiscal quarter. Get all on line influencers to post every day for the entire time. See how fast CEO’s stop buying ads - do only ONE brand - do it implacably for an entire quarter. See how quickly you become the new sheriff in town and how fast other CEO’s quit buying ads. See how fast FOX changes content. All they care about is $. Oh - and next generation FOX CEO will be a decent human being if you do this.

Details matter. Talk to me. See Target and Tesla for examples. Companies are people, not paper. Make it personal.

Yes, focus on 1 or maybe 2 at most companies at a time, for an extended time.

Make an impact, and every CEO gets the message.

Exactly. It’s a new opportunity in a new technology world. Dispersion will never work - concentration will.

Something that Hegseth failed to do was set up logistics for the 4700 soldiers he put in Los Angeles. He made no provisions for food or housing for those soldiers and they are just sleeping in the basements of government buildings and have no hot meals. I know that if he was part of the military chain of command he would be under an article 15 and busted down for such incompetence.

TACO DON is putting pressure on a community and a governor whose intelligence and sexual orientation frighten him and the ignorant sycophants that surround him. They can't understand someone being compassionate and not preying on other people to make yourself feel stronger and better than others. These are small petty childish people who spend all of their time doing performative politics.

Great interview Fred. It was such a perfect encapsulation of the real dynamics in play that I shared it on FB (where some of my friends who are Trumpers will see it) and to my sister who is deep in the cult. It will likely fall on deaf ears of those who really need to see it (and have the courage and interest to do something other than zombie along in the flow of the cult), but I just can’t watch all this play out in LA (I’m in San Diego), with out trying to take a whack at getting them to step away from this madness.

I'm hoping that there are Califorinia Congressional Republicans -- there are 9 of them-- that know the rationale for this -- danger of invasion by a foreign nation; there is a rebellion or danger of a rebellion against the authority of the government of the United States -- is BS and will step forward.

Can call "adverse witnesses." Call Homan to the stand. Local Republican politicians.

I don't know this as a fact, but I bet the protesters have been infiltrated like the crowds were during the George Floyd protests. He who smelled it dealt it. https://www.congress.gov/116/meeting/house/110775/documents/HHRG-116-JU00-20200610-SD019.pdf

"Protestors" can be scanned via face recognition. Hopefully local police can spot some of them.

Trump is doing it intentionally to punish Newsom for standing up to him.

This is a great interview.

However, can we imagine if George Washington had accidentally lent 4,000 colonial militia to King George III in 1775 to protect the redcoats? Wouldn’t he have been run out on a rail? Would he have even had time or opportunity to file a complaint with parliament or local law enforcement about it before they sent him packing?

Why should anyone feel sorry for Gavin Newsom after he has somehow inadvertently done this at such a critical moment. Surely, there was some devious trickery involved and it sounds like some lying based on how upset he is, but honestly, as their commander, how did he let these units follow an illegal mobilization order without stopping them and keeping them at home? Nobody has explained this, it’s being completely skipped over in a blame Trump moment.

After this, the federal administration spent the whole weekend spreading opportunistic disinformation, humiliating LA, democrats and Governor Newsom as a result. Newsom is making some very useful talking points now as part of the PR damage control campaign, but it seems like someone did not have their eye on the ball when these troops were inexplicably swiped from him unless further explanation is forthcoming or someone can point out a story that includes this.
