My father was on the USS Chicago which was attacked and sunk. He survived because he was a radio man and stayed on board attempting last minute communications….long enough to be rescued … easy to forget such long ago tragedy…

those who served and they should be shown respect for doing so.
Tomorrow remember all those individuals who fought in all the wars. Respect
