And “Congress was left scrambling to catch up.” Thanks for drawing the parallel to our current times where it is clearly up to us to make good, nonviolent trouble.

Great article, Fred. I’m so glad we are taking non-violent action against these maga nutjobs. It feels good.

It appears the anti Christian emails will not go through. I wrote a good one, but I don’t think they want anymore responses… 🤣🤣🤣

This is my email to anti-christianbias@va.gov

So the Department of Veterans Affairs apparently thinks “anti-Christian bias” is a legitimate problem. That’s rich.

In a country where Christian prayers open government meetings, Christian holidays are federal days off, and Christian chaplains are omnipresent in the military—this is what you’re worried about? The most dominant religion in American history is now a fragile flower in need of its own complaint inbox?

There is no epidemic of anti-Christian bias. What there is—occasionally—is pushback when Christianity tries to assert itself over everyone else’s rights. That’s not persecution. That’s democracy working as intended.

So if this inbox is real (and not just a satirical art project), maybe take a moment to consider whether you’re defending religious liberty—or just Christian supremacy with better branding.

Let me know when you set up anti-everyone-who-isn’t-Christian@va.gov. At least then you’d be honest.

Well the attack on governor Shapiro as stated by the attacker was because of his unwavering support of genocidal Israel.

I don’t condone violence; however, the violence is the product of the helplessness people feel by their beliefs that their representatives don’t listen to them.

This country is supporting Israel like Walt Disney supported Hitler.

And before you claim I’m anti-Semitic, I just want to say the Israelis are majority not from there. Most of them can trace their lineage back to Europe.

The true Semites are the ones who always lived there, The Palestinians.

Now next, I am not anti-Jewish.

I love and respect every human being.

However, that love and respect stops when they commit mass murder and what the ICJ has called genocide.

Most people, that are knowledgeable, don’t want the idea that we are complicit in this genocide on their conscience.

Now another belief of rising political violence is motivated by inequitable healthcare. Which manifested via the violence of Luigi Mangione.

I wouldn’t be hard pressed into belief that if someone is to attack a republican for voting for the SAVE Act that it was because it was going to strip millions of their eligibility to vote and create new unnecessary hurdles in order to be heard.

Once again I DO NOT ADVOCATE OR CONDONE VIOLENCE. That doesn’t mean I don’t comprehend the desperation others feel in believing that it’s the only way for the issue to be addressed.

Create an environment that representatives care more about their constituents then getting re-elected and they will surely find out that if they support their constituents, their constituents will support them.

Look at the white house first for hostile Christian views. And anti- Semitic views as well. Thank you Fred.

History does repeat itself. Showing how events in 1775 mirror 2025, you can also fast forward and show Hitler in 1935 mirroring 2025 as well. America fought greatly in both those times, and pray we do now as well. Thankful for you Fred as well as everyone who is standing up speaking truth.

Most of my life, except for the 5 years I lived in the UK, has been spent living one town over from Lexington. I've only seen the re-enactment of the Battle 1x. But as kids, we visited all of the spots numerous times. I never, ever imagined that we'd be fighting tyranny and a mad king again. What an honor to have a relative who was part of the battle! Have you ever been to the re-enactment?
