Fascinating, Fred! Thanks for the Missouri history and civics lesson. I was fortunate to have two dear work colleagues from the Show Me State: one from St. Louis, and one from Kansas City. Both stubborn, but in the best way! And both rightfully proud of their home state. 😁

I am inspired by what I read! Many red states are following #Trumps order to gerrymander. However, you are right, it won't matter at all if the good people of Missouri realize who will show them what is possible and VoteBlue.

We must build a team that is willing to stand up and fight. I love the Harry Truman analogy.

My grandfather was a farmer from Missouri. My mother studied to be a nurse in St. Louis and my Aunt became a Teacher there so I feel connected.

My father was in the accounting dept at Pratt & Whitney in Kansas City during WW2 - he so admired Truman for his rigorous honesty. No fudging! No kickbacks.

The only things the Rs seem capable of fixing anymore are free and fair elections. Thank you Fred for elevating the discussion.

You are so right Kehoe bends at the knee to say "yes daddy" to chump. And all 3 of our AG's have lied to us, manipulated us and used us and our tax dollars to further their careers. Schmitt even went so far as to out himself as a Christian Nationalist. Such a disgrace and shows no allegiance to the constitution of the U.S. or their oath taken here in MO or in DC. MO needs to vote blue to stop Kehoe. Also make him a one term nobody.

Thanks for notes on the history of Missouri. I enjoy learning about US history. Indiana is similar as a flyover state. It’s history is interesting, during the revolutionary war, we had a heroine “Alice of Old Vincennes”, it was actually Fort Sackville, and was a crucial key outpost needed to help win the war. The young lady helped to turn the tide and provide needed information to the troops headed by George Rogers Clark. Their local HS mascot is The Alices. Most wonder at the weirdness, but she was a true warrior and a key figure. It’s nice when women are given credit. So too, goes red maga Indiana, Maga Mike Braun has had maps redrawn. They look like a warped pinwheel. Would be pretty if it wasn’t so petty and disgusting. So far, he hasn’t called the legislators for a special session, but I’m sure it will be forthcoming. Yes, we need to spend 400K for special sessions when they won’t even fully fund police, emergency, and public education. We held protests in honor of Just Dancing’s visit, but it didn’t phase. So disgusting! I am hoping that the Vote Blue will get out the vote regardless of the attempt of vote steal.

We do get a vote in Missouri and then the corrupt politicians, Andrew Bailey, Kehoe and their like, rip it away and say we are too stupid to know what we voted for🤬
