All new show with Dr. Anahita Dua of Healthcare for Action, Traci Feit Love of Lawyers for Good Government, and a hilarious Panel with comedians Steve Hofstetter and Jarret Berenstein.
Dr. Anahita Dua speaks as if this administration would participate in a conversation. What we are seeing is people getting fired or losing funding for not agreeing with RFK Jr 's position. With Autism, they already know the research result they want to find and are calling all the research, done following the scientific method with findings they don't like, wrong. If you want to sit at the table for a discussion you need to say vaccines cause autism, that floride is poison, and some sick people don't deserve healthcare because they aren't taking care of themselves (as RFK Jr stated in his senate questioning before getting confirmed to his cabinet position).
If she could get a discussion going without conceding then yes, go for it. But to toss out scientific facts to get concessions from this administration, no. Just no. Maybe that is wrong because it closes the conversation down. But RFK Jr and his assistants will be sitting there fingers in their ears screaming, "la la la la" while the doctors and researchers are attempting to advocate for patients.
I hate to break the news to Dr Dua but "they" are not going to reach out to " us." I kind of envy her naievete.
They have no interest and have their own small minded ideologically driven agendas.
For example, we know what policies will substantially reduce gun violence. That those policies work has been amply demonstrated. Those policies are rejected by the Republicans in the MO legislature for ideological and gun lobby reasons.

Traci was a great find. I was unaware of her group.
Rallying attorneys is not only crucial in and of itself, but a visual representation of the dire state of our battered democracy.
