I've taken up the time-honored hobby of Revolutionary War reenactment. Due to recent unfortunate appearances of accoutrements such as three-cornered hats at insurrections, there's a growing assumption that we're all MAGA, though I know we're not. Thank you for the rhetorical ammunition for framing (reframing) the case against arbitrary power. We want very much to refrain from arguing modern politics with visitors to venues where we interpret (so they invite us back next year). We'd sooner argue universal human principles, and let the implications for modern politics pop into the mind of the visitor.
