That’s overall correct. View the results of CT laws enacted regarding gun and magazine ownership. It works well, starting with availability of certain weapons and the magazine capacity. We will never see a leap to taking away all guns. But we can reduce the number of shootings and lower the murder count with legislation.

I'll be looking for Alex Jones/InfoWars take on the Kansas City shooting. After the Highland Park, IL & Uvalde, TX mass murders (and after several other mass shootings) Jones accused the murderers of being trans. As did other conservative "media" influencers like Candace Owens. While conservatives still name-check anti-depressants, video games & not-enuf-Jesus-in-the-schools... blaming LGBT, especially trans, seems like their go-to response to most mass shootings.

They are already blaming “black thugs.” That will be the talking point. It will be a case of out of control crime in “liberal cities overrun by gangs.” Bookmark this comment.

It’s unbelievable that republican leaders ban women from having abortions because they are against killing babies but are happy to let thousands of Americans including many, many children and young people die because they have sold their souls to the evil of money and power. Many of them profess to be Christians but as a Christian myself I can’t relate their words and actions to the teachings of Christ.

If thoughts & prayers worked, we’d all be safe. Too bad they don’t. We need real change & this will only come when the nra & the gop are defeated. I hope it happens on my lifetime.

If you think that it's bad now, just imagine the nightmare we will see if Trump retakes the White House.

When it’s a high wounded to killed ratio an AR wasn’t the weapon used. One dead many wounded is reversed to many dead one wounded when the weapon used has the AR rounds. Let’s start with limiting weapons available and capping magazine capacity like we do here in CT. It’s proven to save lives.
