I’m a voting North Carolinian who has seen the god awful republican legislature cut the legs out from under all the newly elected leaders of our government; the Governor, Attorney General, the Lt. Governor and the Secy. of Education. It’s absolutely appalling at their power grab. The current Governor vetoed it but was overridden in the lower chamber yesterday.
I am shocked! This bounty on illegals is the most heinous thing I have heard yet. When will we get back to loving our neighbors? And they call themselves “Christians”!🤦🏻♀️
Sounds like what Maricopa County/Phoenix had with Joe Arpaio back in the day when the state lege passed Bill 1030 which was basically open season on illegal residents.
I met a Missouri state legislator in 1976. His daughter was using his car while visiting from California and she drove a bunch of us to an outdoor concert. While we were at the concert, the car was broken into and my pack and sleeping bag were stolen. I survived the night in a tent with 4 others which generated enough heat to survive a summer night in Illinois. Betsy's father, the republican representative, told us that he had paid extra to not have coverage for events like that but frankly, I think he didn't want to file a claim and risk rising rates. Republicans -- feh!
Is the Missouri Democratic party providing explanations and counter-programming (as you have done), or is it radio silence ala Democratic leadership in DC?
Missouri is a beautiful state. Too bad it’s so backwards. 😞 Which is why I chose several miles on the other side of the Mississippi. Thank goodness for Pritzker.

This is so crazy to hear about, it does make me wonder what is next for America once Trump is in place. So sad to see the country self destruct.
