Enjoyed this very much. My long(relatively)long life has been surrounded with military, either family or friends. I’ve lived my life not far from the vaunted AT as well as a few other fun survivalist areas. I also listened to your podcast. I’m a paid subscriber because I believe in your message and your current mission. Keep up the good work. GO NAVY!
Somehow this came up at the top of my feed this morning, and after two weeks of complications after surgery was just what I needed. Seems there is no such thing as coincidence. Thank you.
I knew you’ve been through a lot but didn’t realize how much you signed up for or how deep you had to go to survive the Army and life. Very sorry about your great loss. Your story gives us strength and hope. Thank you.
Oh, ok. I’ve got a few West Pointers in my family as well. I’ve a friend’s son who’s a retired Ranger instructor. There is so much you elite fighters see and do that you can’t say anything about that I would imagine there would be a great risk of it getting terribly heavy. So keep writing and podcasting. Doing both can be good safety valves. Sometimes perspective helps as well.
Fred, As always, you’re on point. Rangers always have a plan. I often attributed much of my career success with having started as a Basic Marine Rifleman. All other MOSs are in support. lol

Thank you so much for your support and kind words. I'm afraid I have to block you though with this Navy stuff.
Sorry. It's just the rules.😎
🤣👍

I’m so glad it helps. Good luck on your recovery. Keep in the fight.
Great story, well told. Felt like it was my ass you were chivvying up that hill.
Mr. Wellman, I had no idea about your first wife. May her memory always be for a blessing.
Thank you.
Wellman... Thank You! I have many emotions roiling after reading this.. and so few words. I needed this. Thank You!
Thank you so much. I’m so glad.

Thank you, Deb. That's about all I can hope for by writing about it all.
Sir, that’s just not nice, SIR! 🤓
Fine. Go Army!

PS, Overall, Navy leads 62-53 with 7 ties. 😎
But did you see the 2022 Army/Navy game that made history by going into double overtime and ARMY WON!! 👀
👏⭐️🏈

Yes I did see that game. It was a heartbreaker for the middies but NAVY shall rise again 😉.
Lol 😆
