Too Late to Cancel- Sen. Andy Kim, AFGE President Everett Kelley, and comedians Liz Miele and Andy Haynes

The latest on the Big Ugly Bill from Sen. Kim, the recent victory in court by AFGE against Trump's illegal firings of Feds, and a hilarious panel with two veteran comedians and writers Liz and Andy.

This one is a must watch

There is a lot going on this week as we head into the Independence Day Holiday week. Most pressing is the Senate is on the verge of passing the most draconian spending bill in modern history that will have generational impact.

It’s estimated that 17 million Americans will lose their Medicaid, leave us $3.9 Trillion in debt, make ICE the largest law enforcement agency in America, and close a full quarter of all nursing homes in the country. That’s before we talk about rural hospitals and increasing energy costs by 30% by pulling the rug out from under renewable energy.

It’s monstrous and they are rushing to get it passed.

The Interviews

We were privileged to get an exclusive interview with New Jersey’s junior Senator, Andy Kim, this morning to discuss the bill, his efforts to stop it, and what we should do to help.

That was followed by another challenging discussion with National Association of Federal Government Employees Union president Everett Kelley on their victory in federal court this week to stop Trump’s stripping of collective bargaining rights and due process to hundreds of thousands of Americans.

They won a temporary injunction to stop the firing and will carry on to stop this attack laid out in Project 2025 on the federal government. We discussed the case and the damage being done to the good Americans, many of whom are veterans, who have sworn an oath to serve our nation and are being attacked for it.

The Panel

After those heavy conversations we needed a great panel with veteran comedians Liz Miele and Andy Haynes. Both of whom have taken different journeys to comedy and their approaches to humor. Liz is the daughter of two veterinarians in New Jersey that had to keep up the pace and Andy is a son of Seattle. Now they are both in New York and working on new comedy specials and more.
