Too Late to Cancel - with Dr. Anahita Dua and comedians Lace Larabee and Brandon Taylor LIVE

How can you get ready for the Medicaid and Medicare cuts and what leads someone to the stand up stage! Don't miss this one!

You can get ready for the cuts

We’ve been talking a lot about the coming cuts to Medicaid and SNAP benefits that the Republicans passed last week. You know the numbers by now with upwards of 17 million Americans set to lose their healthcare so that billionaires can get tax breaks all under the guise of “reform” or fighting fraud.

It’s all a lie.

I wanted to talk about those cuts but also what average Americans can do to get ready for them. Community and rural hospitals are in the crosshairs but so are folks facing “work requirements” which is really just a bureaucratic drill to get people to lose their coverage.

Dr. Anahita Dua, founder of Healthcare for Action joined Too Late to Cancel today to give some important tips on how anyone on Medicare or Medicaid should be getting ready. Don’t forget, it’s not called ‘medicaid’ in your state. In Wisconsin its “Badger Care” and every state has their own.

The Panel

Then we were joined by comedians Lace Larabee and Brandon Taylor discussing their very different journey’s to stand up comedy and also the parallels. We went into great depth on the finer cuisines of our hometowns and southern vs. midwestern living among a wide range of topics.

Be sure to check out the whole show!
