I can’t tell you how often I hear that from someone considering running for office at any level. I get it. It’s hard taking that leap to run for office and finding your niche in politics.
With the insanity happening across this country I am hearing from a host of people who want to run or join a campaign and have no idea where to start. I’ve got good news.

Kelly Dietrich
I am fortunate to know Kelly Dietrich the CEO and Founder of the National Democratic Training Committee. He launched the organization nine years ago as a one stop place for anyone running for office, managing a campaign, or looking to be part of one to find training and guides to do it.
They have everything from a course on how to make the decision to run to a thirty-day challenge that will send you an email every day helping you sort through your options.
If you want to run, or run a campaign, at any level there are resources all on the NDTC’s website at Train Democrats.
This is the moment to get in the fight. We have key local and statewide elections this year and the most important mid-terms we have faced in decades next year.
Kelly and I also discussed what Democrats need to do to win races and hold tough seats after we win. The fight is now.
